    However, when I went to pick it up I had to sign the paperwork which was initially only provided in Spanish. I had to request an English copy which showed an "estimated" final bill which included 19.01 euros for a "refuelling service charge". I queried this and was told that there would be nothing to pay as long as the car was returned full.

    The agency is 3km away from the airport, you need to use a shuttle that is litterally IMPOSSIBLE to find! I had to ask 3 different people who gave us 3 contradictory pieces of information...

    After a lovely holiday, I filled up the car at the garage about 200 metres away from the depot and returned the car as requested. They checked the car and confirmed verbally that it was in good condition and full of fuel. I asked for a final bill but was told this wasn't possible due to exchange rates changing and further, unspecified checks they needed to make.

    Once we got going, the car was fine to be honest - the only bit of the experience which was, to be fair, and why I managed to give it a star rating at all!.

    When we got to the depot, there was no apology about the lack of information or lengthy wait - just another lengthy queue so that we had to wait another hour or so to collect the keys. I asked if there was either sat nav or a map in the car to help us find our way to the hotel which was met with raised eyebrows and a load of muttering in Spanish - fortunately I don't speak Spanish so couldn't take too much offence!

    I was then sent off to look for the car but it wasn't in the designated, numbered slot. I returned to the office, joined the queue again and had to explain this. Once again, there was a load of head shaking and muttering until eventually one of them wandered off into the car park to look for the car. I was told it was in 198 as informed even though she had clearly written and stated 298!

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - IT IS A TOTAL SCAM AND IS PURELY THERE TO MISLEAD CUSTOMERS INTO THINKING THEY ARE GETTING A GOOD DEAL. WHEN THIS HIDDEN CHARGE IS ADDED IN, THEY ARE ACTUALLY MORE EXPENSIVE THAN MOST COMPETITORS!

    USE THESE AT YOUR PERIL! Alternatively, use a professional, decent company instead. Oh, and please tell your family and friends not to use this lot as well. Maybe when they start to get hit in the pocket will they decide to improve their levels of customer service to something that any reasonable person would expect!

    On top of that, their customer service team is there simply to fob off customers and their front of house staff in Tenerife are either incompetent or deliberately untruthful!

    Bad experience. We could not find the desk at the airport - there was no info in reservation that we have to find the bus which will take us there. I tried to call them but unsuccesfully. Also hidden fee 19 eur was charged to us. I do not recommend at all.

    First of all, there was no sign of the office at the airport as I was expecting. Fortunately, I had printed off all the various paperwork so managed to find the instructions about where to meet the rep. However, they were very vague and we spent almost an hour working out that we needed to catch a minibus to the depot. There was a huge queue so we then had to wait for the third bus to come - another 45 minutes!

    Also, we spent a good 15-20 minutes in the airport asking around trying to find out where we were supposed to pick up the car (spoiler: you need to get a shuttle that stops in the furthest point of the car park without any signs).

    Mandatory 19 euro fee for petrol was not included in my original reservation. I would have booked a different place had known this.

    Absolutely terrible. Ordered a "Budget" brand car but was Avis. Only company not at the airport. Instructions completely wrong. Meant to be a person waiting at midnight - none. Phone number closed. Shuttle bus every 30 min - we found this out through the locals who laughed like it happens all the time.
